Will you take care of billing my insurance company for me?
Yes, We take care of the paperwork and billing for you with your insurance provider after the install is complete.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, in fact, all preferred auto glass vendors have to be licensed and insured in order to meet the standards of the insurance companies and third party administrators.
Who am I really talking to when I am making a claim?
You are most likely talking to a third party administrator (TPA) that is financially affiliated with another glass shop. Be aware that the third party network IS NOT your insurance company. Steering you away from your shop of choice is an unethical and illegal practice. It is your right to choose!
How long will it take for the urethane to set up before I can safely drive the car?
Even though today’s urethane products are stronger than ever, your vehicle should sit for 1 hour at minimum. If your vehicle is equipped with a passenger side air bag we recommend a 2 hour wait time. Moisture, humidity, and outside air temperature, affect cure times as well.
Will filing an auto glass claim ding my insurance policy and increase my rates?
Glass is considered a “rider” to your comprehensive coverage and should not affect your rates by Arizona law. Please contact your agent for your specific insurance needs
What if I only have liability coverage? (No Glass Coverage)
Auto glass services are not usually covered under liability policies. We will be happy to give you an out of pocket or cash quote. All Shade offers many payment options including cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
What if my deductible is the same or more than the auto glass service?
In this case you will probably want to bypass the insurance claim process and we will provide you with a cash quote.
Do I have the right to choose my auto glass repair and replacement facility?
YES! By law you have the right to choose any glass shop you want!
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, AllShade Glass and Tinting offers a lifetime warranty on every installation for as long as you own your vehicle. Our warranty includes, but is not limited to, workmanship, material defects, air and water leakage.
Are all rock chips repairable?
No. The size, severity, location and type of breakage will determine if the chip can be repaired. Our technicians can determine this once they have looked at your vehicle.
Tint FAQ
What’s the difference between tinted and stained glass?
Stained glass from the factory only darkens the windows but provides no UV protection as apposed to every one of our tint shades that block 99% of the suns harmful UV rays
What shades of tint are legal in Arizona?
You may only go as dark as 30% on the front passenger and driver side door glass. Every other window you can go as dark as 5%
How long do I have to wait to roll down my windows?
We recommend waiting 3-5 days to roll down a newly tinted window to give the film time to adhere properly
If my car is older than 7 years will there be debris?
We can not guarantee a completely clean tint on older cars because the build up of dirt and debris in the window gaskets. Sometimes this dirt and debris is not able to be completely removed
How long does it take to tint a vehicle?
The tinting process usually takes between 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours depending on the vehicle
Does tint affect how I clean my windows?
Because of the adhesive used on the tint, only ammonia free glass cleaner should be used on the inside of your window.
Will my tint start to bubble and peel after time?
We only use the highest quality film on your windows backed by a lifetime warranty against peeling or bubbling
What do the different percentages of tint mean?
Film percentages stand for light transmission, or the amount of light that is allowed through the film. The lower the percentage, the darker the film.
What Is a Brow?
YA brow is a strip of tint installed across the top portion of your windshield to block the suns glare.
If my car is older than 7 years will there be light gaps?
On older cars some windows lack gaskets or “frit” (a line of black around the outside of a piece of glass) on these windows there may be slight light gaps.
Do you offer a mobile tinting service?
In order to get your tint installed as clean as possible we only offer tinting at one of our two shop locations.
Do I need an appointment to get my windows tinted?
Yes, in order to have our shop ready for your vehicle we ask that every one call to schedule an appointment.
